The position emphasizes collaboration with nurses and dietitians, adherence to HIPAA, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards to support high-quality patient dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate and read documents such as safety rules, procedure manuals, and operation and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Oversees systems and processes to ensure program objectives are met.
• Supervise Patient Dining Associates and ensure meals are served, assembled, delivered or picked up.
• Work with caregivers and culinary team to determine menu alternatives for allergies and preferences.
• Interact with nursing to daily monitor patient meal selections and tray processes.
• Respond to patient needs and escalate issues as needed.
• Assist dietitians in monitoring patients on restricted or modified diets.
• Follow HIPAA and confidentiality policies and maintain sanitation standards.
• Complete daily, weekly or monthly reports per Morrison Healthcare policies.
• Lead daily meetings following GR8 Start guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
