Quipt Home Medical is seeking a Customer Service Representative to act as the primary contact for patients, caregivers and referrals. You will verify insurance, qualify orders, and process requests accurately in the computer system while coordinating delivery times.

The role requires strong communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to handle inquiries and complaints with professionalism. A supportive team and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Requires strong communication skills and independent decision making.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and general clerical tasks.
• Experience in a customer service environment preferred or related billing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients, caregivers, referrals or accounts.
• Qualify orders by insurance and patient information for third-party billing when appropriate.
• Input orders and changes into the computer system accurately and timely.
• Coordinate delivery/pickup times and notify clinical staff accordingly.
• Handle inquiries and resolve complaints with professional courtesy and thorough follow-up.
• Maintain accurate patient files and ensure all paperwork is completed and filed.
• Assist with mail, faxing, and general office duties as needed.
• Adhere to company policies and participate in ongoing training.
