Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide friendly, professional assistance
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments
• Collect patient information and keep demographics up to date
• Manage check-in and check-out
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays and balances
• Provide forms, instructions, and information patients may need
• Answer incoming calls and route them appropriately
• Relay patient messages and assist with appointment follow-up
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Scan and upload documents into patient records
• Protect patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA requirements
