Job summary

Spire Orthopedic Partners is seeking a Front Desk Specialist for Ortho Rhode Island to welcome and register patients, verify insurance, schedule referrals, and manage checkout with courtesy and efficiency. You will triage patients, collect copays, update demographics, and coordinate with vendors — while upholding HIPAA and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Discretion to work with confidential information.
• Knowledge of HIPAA Regulations.
• Medical terminology knowledge.
• Bilingual Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and manage check-out processes.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits and document appropriately.
• Obtain referrals and triage patients as needed.
• Collect copays and outstanding balances.
• Schedule future appointments and outside testing.
