You will manage multi-line calls, update patient information, and handle co-pays while maintaining a welcoming front desk. We offer comprehensive benefits and a 40-hour work week with occasional Saturday coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years of recent medical office experience or in a similar capacity is preferred.
• Proficient in basic computer functions.
• Ability to learn new software quickly.
• Must possess excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment.
• Ability to type a minimum of 40 wpm is preferred.
• Must possess attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team.
• Ability to respond positively to constructive feedback and direction from supervisors.
• Must display a friendly, cheerful, tactful demeanor, and be compassionate in dealing with others.

Responsibilities

• Performs opening and closing clinic duties.
• Greets patients, checks in for appointments and verifies insurance.
• Scans documents into electronic health record.
• Maintains tidiness of waiting area and reception counter throughout the day.
• Checks schedules for added, canceled and no‑show appointments throughout the day.
• Schedules follow up appointments as needed.
• Responds to designated tasks in the electronic health record.
• Orders clinic office supplies.
• Sells and tracks cosmetic products.
• Distributes mail.
• Prepares for next day scheduled appointments.
