Qualifications

• High School level education.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, medical computer programs and insurance policies preferred.
• Typing speed of 40 wpm.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel required.
• Must be personable, dependable, and responsible with excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating the efficient and timely entry of the patient to the office.
• Greeting all patients in a professional manner.
• Distributing literature and forms to patients and ensuring accuracy.
• Copying insurance IDs, driver’s licenses, and related admin tasks.
• Support front office administrators and Office Manager in various tasks.
• Pulling and filing patient records; handling phone calls and scheduling support.
