CORA Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator to join our outpatient clinics in South Carolina. You will be the first point of contact, greeting patients and ensuring a smooth visit experience with empathy and efficiency.

Responsibilities include answering calls, verifying benefits, collecting payments, and coordinating with clinicians. The role supports a welcoming, organized environment and may require basic Spanish communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Recent customer service experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Reliable, honest, and adaptable in fast-paced team environments.
• Preferred: Healthcare office experience and Spanish fluency.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and build rapport at the front desk.
• Screen and answer incoming calls; take messages and relay information.
• Verify outpatient therapy insurance benefits and explain financial responsibilities.
• Manage incoming physician referrals and prescriptions; communicate visit expectations.
• Scan insurance/ID cards and paperwork into patient files.
• Collect co-pays/deductibles, provide receipts, and balance daily collections.
