Job summary

CORA Batesburg is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator to support clinic operations and ensure a positive patient experience. You will greet patients, manage calls, verify benefits, and handle financial interactions at the front desk.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong customer service experience, and proficiency in Word/Excel. Healthcare office experience and Spanish fluency are a plus. This on-site role offers full benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Recent customer service experience is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is expected.
Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills are essential.
Reliable, honest, and adaptable in fast-paced team environments.
Preferred: healthcare office experience and fluency in Spanish.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and build rapport at front desk.
Screen and answer incoming calls; take messages and relay information.
Explain insurance responsibilities and patient financials (co-pays/deductibles).
Manage referrals and prescriptions; communicate visit expectations.
Scan insurance and ID cards into patient files.
Collect co-pays and balances; balance daily collections and submit charges.
Maintain a clean, welcoming clinic environment following CDC guidelines.
