CORA Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator to support clinic operations at our outpatient centers. You will greet patients, schedule, verify benefits, and ensure a positive first impression.

You will handle front desk duties, collect payments, maintain records, and collaborate with clinicians to deliver compassionate care. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong communication, and basic software skills; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Recent customer service experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Reliable, honest, and adaptable in fast-paced team environments.
• Preferred: healthcare office experience and basic medical terminology; Spanish fluency.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and build rapport in person and by phone.
• Screen and answer incoming calls; take messages and relay information as needed.
• Verify outpatient therapy insurance benefits and explain financial responsibilities.
• Manage incoming physician referrals and prescriptions; communicate first visit expectations.
• Scan insurance and ID cards into patient files.
• Collect co-pays and deductibles, provide receipts, balance daily collections, and submit charges.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic environment; sanitize spaces per CDC guidelines.
