Responsibilities

• Receives and screens visitors and telephone calls and provides information.
• Schedules patient appointments and enters patient demographic and insurance data.
• Verifies insurance information and referrals as needed before visits.
• Assists patients with MyChart registration and portal use.
• Manages high volumes of calls and routes to providers for follow-up.
• Performs pre-registration, check-in, and verification of insurance at point of service.
• Handles incoming faxes and routes results to appropriate staff.
• Collects co-pays and reconciles payments, preparing deposits.
