Job summary

Virginia Physicians for Women is seeking a front desk professional to join our team and float between West End offices in Henrico Doctors, St. Mary's, and West Creek locations.

The role demands excellent customer service, a strong work ethic, and the ability to multitask in a high-volume setting. The position is full-time with responsibilities spanning patient check-in/out, financial policy communication, payment plans, copayments, and scheduling across multiple offices.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience.
• Prior medical office experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Complete all functions of patient admission and check out.
• Understand and communicate the financial policies of VPFW.
• Explaining payment plan arrangements with patients.
• Collecting copayments and balances.
• Manage and resolve patient payment concerns or questions.
• Collect and coordinate patient insurance policies.
• Schedule appointments to accommodate physicians across multiple offices.
• Provide front desk coverage across any West End office location as needed by request of supervisor/ upper management.
• Regular and predictable attendance.
