Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Three years of medical office experience required.
• Knowledge of medical office software; EPIC experience preferred.
• Understanding CPT and ICD-9-CM coding.
• Excellent verbal communication, confidentiality, and teamwork.
• Ability to handle changing priorities and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a super-user for EPIC systems, supporting the practice and handling work queues.
• Scheduling and authorizations.
• Coordinate patient appointments, referrals, and follow-ups.
• Back up front desk coverage for Check in and Check out.
• Foster a welcoming environment for patients.
• Manage patient records, insurance and billing with confidentiality.
• Liaise between patients, providers, and staff to facilitate communication.
