Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years office/clerical experience in customer service or clinical environment preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and PC software; math & bookkeeping skills favored.
• CPR certification preferred or obtainable within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and add-on patients to clinic; answer and route calls.
• Enter demographic and insurance data into IDX; obtain authorizations and referrals.
• Schedule surgical cases and assist with patient flow in clinic.
• Check out patients and collect copays; follow up with patients as needed.
• Coordinate patient care with satellite clinics and perform related clerical duties.
