Community Health Partnership of Illinois (CHP) seeks a Patient Services Representative to join the CHP Kankakee Health Center. This role serves as the first point of contact, greeting patients and assisting with scheduling, insurance questions, and general information.

The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma is required, with healthcare or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors professionally.
• Manage check-in/check-out with accurate data entry.
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments.
• Answer calls regarding appointments, services, insurance, and general information.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information.
• Maintain confidential patient records according to policies and regulations.
• Assist patients with billing questions and front-desk needs.
• Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Address patient questions or concerns professionally and escalate when needed.
• Perform general front-desk duties including filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
