Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office required.
• Some reception experience preferred.
• Surgery scheduling experience strongly preferred.
• Must complete required e-learning courses within 90 days of occupying position.
• Demonstrates Adaptability and Commitment to Quality.

Responsibilities

• Registers and schedules patient appointments efficiently.
• Answers, screens, and directs incoming calls.
• Surgery scheduling and care coordination with local hospitals and centers.
• Schedules returning appointments with details and directions.
• Records cancellations and reschedules, noting in patient chart.
• Maintains confidentiality per HIPAA laws and guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
