Qualifications

• High school diploma with at least 1 year of front desk experience in a health care entity.
• Preferred: Associate Degree or higher in a business-related field.
• Preference to one year experience in a FQHC.

Responsibilities

• Register all patients according to OMC policies and procedures prior to an appointment.
• Document consents for treatments, reminders, insurance verifications/authorizations, and proper scheduling.
• Assist patients with courtesy and respect, providing policy-based guidance in consultation with supervisor.
• Perform check-in and check-out procedures, assure proper collections, referrals, and follow-up appointments.
• Maintain communications with clinical staff regarding patient needs and readiness for care.

Education
