Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare administration is a plus.
• Ability to verify insurance coverage and coordinate registrations.
• Comfort handling patient payments and daily reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, providing a professional and supportive experience.
• Handle patient check-in/out and ensure registration details are accurate.
• Prepare surgical charts and ensure all necessary documentation is complete.
• Verify insurance coverage, coordinate referrals and pre-authorizations.
• Collect copays and balances and complete daily payment reconciliation.
• Review charge sheets and surgical docs to support accurate billing.
• Maintain patient records and scan into the EHR.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to coordinate patient care and address questions.
• Answer calls and assist with daily administrative operations.
• Maintain a welcoming and organized ASC environment.
