  • Knowledge of orthopaedic surgery workflows and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and visitors, providing a professional, friendly, and supportive experience.
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out, ensuring registration information is accurate and up to date.
  • Prepare surgical charts and ensure all necessary documentation is complete.
  • Verify insurance coverage, coordinate referrals, and manage pre-authorizations.
  • Collect copays and patient balances and complete daily payment reconciliation.
  • Review and reconcile charge sheets, fee slips, and surgical documentation for billing.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and scan documentation into the EHR.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff, providers, and revenue cycle teams.
  • Answer incoming calls, manage correspondence, and assist with daily administrative operations.
  • Help maintain a welcoming, organized, and efficient ASC environment.
