Job summary

Advocate Medical Group, part of Advocate Health, is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join the ambulatory care team. You will support providers, connect with patients, and help deliver a compassionate, seamless experience across multiple Park Ridge, Des Plaines, Glenview, and surrounding locations.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, scheduling, handling inquiries about tests, billing, referrals, and ensuring accurate patient records while maintaining a patient-centered

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years related customer service experience.
• Experience handling difficult caller/customers/patients.

Responsibilities

• Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8.5 hours with lunch; rotates 6:45am–5:30pm, occasional Saturday 9am–1pm about once a month.
• As a Patient Service Representative, you’ll support providers, connect with patients, and help ensure a seamless, compassionate experience.
• Assist with patient inquiries, appointments, tests, billing/charges, referrals and medical records coordination.
