Job summary

Advocate Health’s Aurora Urgent Care seeks a Patient Service Representative to support providers, engage with patients, and ensure a compassionate, seamless experience. This role focuses on front-line patient interactions, scheduling, and information delivery.

The PSR will assist in billing and medical record accuracy as part of an ambulatory care team in a busy walk-in clinic environment. Strong customer service and communication are essential to success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years related customer service experience preferred.
• Experience handling difficult callers/customers/patients is desired.

Responsibilities

• Patient Services: provides efficient, high-quality service to patients for appointments, information, tests, procedures, bills, referrals, and other matters.
• Billing Services: ensures entry of billing information at time of service and accurate follow-up on missing information.
• Medical Record Services: maintains accurate and timely medical records in line with practice standards.
