Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle, WA is seeking a Patient Services Representative to act as the first point of contact for patients and families, help check-in, and deliver patient-centered customer service onsite at the South Lake Union location.

Responsibilities include greeting and screening patients, distributing paperwork, triaging questions, and performing general clerical duties, with an emphasis on accurate data, efficient flow, and supportive communication in a busy healthcare

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months to one year experience in a customer service environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting and manage tasks independently.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and screen patients, check them in using scheduling software.
• Prepare and hand out necessary paperwork to patients and families.
• Answer calls and route questions to appropriate staff as needed.
• Perform general clerical duties including mail, inventory, and supplies.
• Support patient flow and verify demographic, clinical, and financial information.
