Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Patient Services Associate to ensure an excellent patient experience and streamlined front-office workflows. You will greet patients, check-in/out, collect payments, verify demographics and insurance, and schedule appointments to support timely care.

You will respond to patient inquiries, assist with insurance verification, prepare daily clinic schedules, and collaborate with providers and staff to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of recent experience in a medical office.
• Strong computer knowledge and basic billing/insurance familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and check-in/out; verify demographics and insurance.
• Collect copayments and outstanding balances.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and provide visit summaries or referrals.
• Respond to patient calls and inquiries promptly; route messages as needed.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments; obtain pre-authorizations.
• Prepare daily clinic schedules and aid chart prep; support office operations.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
