Qualifications

• High School Diploma or the Equivalent.
• 1-2 years relevant experience in public contact, preferably in medical office environment.
• Minimum 1-year front office or reception experience, medical preferred.
• Practice Management and experience (desired).

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary customer service, both in person and on the phone.
• Greet and direct patients, vendors, and visitors.
• Follow established protocols to schedule patient appointments, check in/verify information, confirm insurance/referral, ensure consent forms are up to date in practice management software and EMR systems.
• Answer multiline phone system, schedule patient appointments, verify insurance eligibility and financial status.
• Enter personal health information and financial data into the system with high accuracy, while maintaining patient privacy.
• Assist patients with check-in process and paperwork as needed.
• Communicate status of appointments, wait times, or cancellations.
• Review records for completeness and accuracy, keep schedules aligned with physician clinics.
• Collect co-pays and balances due, coordinate flow with medical team.
• Coordinate interpreters when needed.
• Complete duties and follow onboarding policies.
