Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of relevant experience in insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, electronic health records, lab service support or other related fields.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and handle complex patient/customer problems with discernment.
• Perform administrative tasks: patient check-out, schedule appointments and referrals, review medical records, coordinate procedures and tests.
• Obtain insurance authorizations and assist with denials/appeals.
• Scan EMR/EHR documents and manage Right Fax uploads to EPIC.
• Train new team members using standard work.
• Act as Patient Services Representative or Associate when needed.
• Participate in safety initiatives and mandatory competencies.
