Corewell Health in Grand Rapids, MI is hiring a Patient Services Representative to provide registration, concierge, and clerical support to patients. You will work with a team to ensure smooth patient flow, insurance verification, and accurate medical records handling.

The role includes front-desk duties, coordination of referrals, and collaboration with care teams to support positive patient experiences. Day shifts with full-time hours are available at the Grand Rapids site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of relevant experience in insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, electronic health records, lab service support or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and handle complex patient problems during registration.
• Perform administrative tasks including scheduling, referrals, and medical record review.
• Obtain insurance authorizations and assist with denials/appeals.
• Scan EMR/EHR documents and manage Right Fax uploads to EPIC.
• Assist with training new team members and act as Patient Services Representative when needed.
• Participate in safety initiatives and complete required competencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
