Job summary

Corewell Health in St. Joseph, Michigan is seeking a Patient Services Representative to deliver front-line registration, concierge, and clerical support.

You will greet patients, help manage appointments and registrations, and ensure accurate demographic and insurance information is captured at check-in/out. You will also manage document uploads to EPIC, maintain EMR records, and participate in safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year certificate from college or technical school preferred, depending on Corewell Health entity.
• 1 year of relevant experience in insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, electronic health records, or related areas is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors as a concierge.
• Handle clerical tasks: take calls, schedule appointments, order supplies, and manage mail and registrations.
• Register patients and assist with check-in/out and appointment scheduling.
• Maintain medical records and upload documents into the EPIC EMR system.
• Support safety initiatives and complete required safety competencies.
