Job summary

OrthoArizona in Peoria, AZ is hiring a Medical Receptionist at all levels to join our elite team of healthcare providers. The role supports patient experiences, answers calls, screens inquiries, and handles front-desk duties in a caring, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Working knowledge of computer programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understand/perform training on practice management software.
• Continue to expand knowledge of practice management software as updates occur.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures.
• High School diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones in a prompt, courteous and helpful manner, screen calls, and route as needed; create phone notes in the EMR.
• Index patient documents to correct patient chart.
• Route electronic faxes to correct location and upload to patient chart.
• Assist with other duties as needed during downtime.
• All other duties as assigned.
