Job summary

CityMD in New Jersey is seeking a Patient Service Representative to warmly greet incoming patients, register them, and coordinate timely care across the team. You will enter patient information into the system, scan and file records, verify insurance, handle cash and co-pays, and provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with physicians and staff;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience in high-volume or high-intensity service environments preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across teams.
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients in a friendly manner.
• Register patients and coordinate intake and appointments.
• Enter/update patient information in the system accurately.
• Scan, update and file medical records as needed.
• Answer calls promptly and respond to inquiries professionally.
• Process insurance information, verify eligibility and handle co-pays.
