Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of experience in patient registration or a related healthcare setting.
• Must be able to travel between locations as needed.
• Familiarity with insurance concepts and co-pay collection is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and staff in a pleasant, respectful manner.
• Assist with electronic check-in at kiosks and registration.
• Register patients accurately following department procedures.
• Handle high-volume calls and manage switchboard.
• Explain insurance coverage and collect co-pays.
• Update scheduling and recall systems as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional conduct.
• Balance daily transactions and closing reports.
• Coordinate with clinical staff for diagnoses and authorizations.
