Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Front End Staff member to register patients, collect demographic and insurance information, and explain financial responsibilities. You will use EPIC EMR and other tools to ensure accurate data and HIPAA compliance.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with professional conduct and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be PSR I for 12 months and meet promotion criteria.
• HIPAA awareness and EMTALA knowledge expected.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and collect demographic, guarantor, and insurance information.
• Explain co-pays and patient financial responsibilities clearly.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and related regulations.
• Assist with scheduling, reminders, and test preparations.
• Provide accurate information about directions, arrival times, and visit flow.
