Job summary

Mercy Medical Center Redding is seeking a Clerk to serve as the welcoming face and organizational hub of the clinic, ensuring a seamless and positive patient experience. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support - CPR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules Radiological procedures, CT scans, Sonograms, Vascular Lab and Nuclear Medicine to best accommodate patient and physician.
• Performs receptionist functions, greets patients, enters orders, answers phones, and assists with imaging records requests.
• Facilitates efficient imaging examinations by supporting Radiologists and department staff with administrative tasks.
• Assists Radiologists in completing all transcribed reports to a signed status within 24 hours and communicates with transcription and nursing floors.
• Reviews next day OP schedule to ensure patients know appointment/arrival times and prep needed for exams.
• Performs other related duties as assigned in a professional manner.
