Job summary

• Other: Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, IT proficiency; insurance verification helpful.

Responsibilities

• Handle telephones and patient inquiries with courtesy and accuracy.
• Schedule patient appointments and support check-in processes.
• Verify insurance, obtain authorizations and pre-certifications.
• Process referrals and post charges; assist with basic billing tasks.
• Maintain medical records and assist department as needed.
• May manage business services for workers' comp or corporate accounts; some evenings/weekends may be required.
