Job summary

Lee Health Family Medicine – North Naples is seeking a Customer Service Representative to deliver exceptional patient service in a team-based environment. Responsibilities include telephone handling, appointment scheduling, check-in, insurance verification and billing duties.

Position may require managing business services for workers' compensation, commercial carriers, employee health and corporate accounts. Shift times and occasional late hours may apply.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Less than 1 year clerical/administrative • insurance/customer service preferred.
• Certification: BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Handle telephones, schedule patient appointments and perform check-in.
• Verify insurance, obtain authorizations, pre-certifications and referrals.
• Post charges, initial collections, and maintain medical records.
