Job summary

Community Health Care is seeking a Patient Services Representative to join our clinics in Pierce County. You will handle patient billing questions, set up payment plans, process referrals, and schedule appointments.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma and at least 1 year in medical front office. Prior experience with sliding fee schedules and EHR/EPMS documentation is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus 1 year experience in medical front office or related role.
• Experience handling billing questions and patient inquiries is preferred.
• Ability to review and ensure accuracy of sliding fee documentation and data entry in EHR/EPMS.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients regarding accounts and billing.
• Set up payment plans and answer questions about bills.
• Process referrals to specialty care, dieticians, radiology, and community resources.
• Schedule appointments and confirm patient information in the system.
• Review and document sliding fee paperwork for completeness and accuracy.
