Job summary

Community Health Care is hiring a Patient Services Representative to join our Lakewood clinics. The role focuses on patient accounts, payment plans, and ensuring billing accuracy in our EHR/EPM systems.

You will process referrals, manage copays and sliding fee levels, and contact patients to schedule appointments. The ideal candidate has a High School diploma and at least 1 year of front-office or medical billing experience, with a customer-service mindset and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus 1 year experience in medical front office or related experience.
• Experience handling patient billing questions and payment plans.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and practice management (EPM) systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with account questions and payment plans.
• Process referrals to specialty care and other services.
• Review and adjust copays/deductibles based on sliding fee level.
• Ensure accurate billing information in the system.

We are looking for Patient Services Representative’s to join our clinics! Our Patient Services Representatives provide customer service to patients regarding their accounts including setting up payment plans, answering questions concerning bills, and ensure billing information is accurate in system. They also process referrals to specialty care, dieticians, radiology exams, community resources and contact patients to make appointments. They will ensure copays and deductibles are adjusted based on patient’s sliding fee level (as appropriate) plus they review sliding fee paperwork for completeness and ensure documented correctly in electronic health record (E.H.R) and practice management (E.P.M) systems. They also answer billing questions from staff, vendors, and patients. Plus, other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: High School Diploma plus 1 year experience in medical front office or combination of relevant experience and education.
