Job summary

Center for Vein Restoration in Columbia, SC is hiring Patient Service Representatives to join a patient-focused healthcare team. You will greet patients, handle check-in/out, and support front-desk operations in a fast-paced environment.

No nights, no weekends, and no on-call requirements with a daytime schedule featuring four 10-hour shifts. This role uses NextGen/EHR systems and offers benefits, growth opportunities, and a collaborative atmosphere at CVR clinics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year administrative or customer service experience, preferably in a medical setting.
• Must have reliable transportation to clinics that may not be accessible by public transportation.
• Must be able to travel to CVR Clinics.
• Spanish fluency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a friendly, professional manner and check in/out.
• Distribute, ensure understanding and implementation of CVR policies and procedures by all center staff.
• Ensure patient charts are HIPAA compliant and up to date in NextGen.
• Review scheduling and financial responsibilities with each patient during care.
• Send precertification forms daily to the Precertification Department.
• Complete daily close tasks, including fee tickets, billing tasks and operative notes.
• Review future schedules to confirm preauthorization for treatment.
• Obtain new patient forms and update records in NextGen/EHR.
• Collect paperwork for appointments and collect copays and balances.
• Schedule and confirm appointments and collect emails from patients.
