Job summary

Center for Vein Restoration (CVR) is hiring a Patient Services Representative for our NW Portland clinic. You will greet patients, verify demographics, collect copays, and coordinate appointments in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

The role emphasizes HIPAA compliance, accurate charting in NextGen, and proactive scheduling. The schedule is weekday daytime with on-site responsibilities and growth opportunities within CVR.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year administrative or customer service experience, preferably in medical setting.
• Reliable transportation to clinics.
• Willingness to travel to the CVR NW Portland clinic.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner and check in/out.
• Ensure that all CVR policies and procedures are distributed, understood, and implemented by all assigned center staff members.
• Ensure HIPAA-compliant, up-to-date patient charts in NextGen/EHR.
• Review scheduling and financial responsibilities and referrals with patients.
• Send precertification forms to the Precertification Department daily.
• Complete daily close tasks including fee tickets, billing tasks and operative notes.
• Verify future schedules are preauthorized for treatment.
• Collect necessary paperwork for patient appointments and update records in NextGen/EHR.
• Collect copays and patient balances at time of service.
• Schedule and confirm appointments and collect patient emails.
