Tepeyac Community Health Center is seeking a Patient Services I to join the entry-level Patient Services Team in a fast-paced clinic in Denver. The role supports scheduling, registration, data entry, and patient communication to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of customer service experience.
• Oral and written fluency in English and oral fluency in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge and understanding of patient payer terminology, eligibility, and insurances accepted.
• Process payments and cash handling.
• Schedule management and maintaining the clinic schedule.
• Provide excellent customer service with cultural sensitivity and confidentiality.
• Follow telephone protocol for patients and staff.
• Enter and update electronic medical records.
• Collect patient data for process improvements.
• Engage patients with Patient Portal.
• Answer questions per policies and procedures.
• Escalate safety concerns to management.
