Job summary

Responsibilities

• Answers telephones promptly and courteously; handles multiple lines.
• Schedules and cancels appointments; books tests and surgeries per policy.
• Prepares charts and paperwork; greets patients in a welcoming manner.
• Verifies demographic and insurance information; ensures HIPAA compliance.
• Collects co-pays and balances at check-in/out; refers to billing when needed.
• Performs day-end reconciliation and handles batch processes.
