Job summary

Pacific Medical Group in Oregon City is seeking a Patient Services Representative to greet, screen, and schedule patients and manage clerical duties across clinical services. You will input patient information into electronic health records and coordinate communications between patients and the clinical team.

Ideal candidates have healthcare interest, strong organization, and exceptional customer service skills. Prior experience in medical offices and proficiency with EHR systems are a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous medical office experience preferred; minimum 1 year (2+ years preferred).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, both in person and over the phone.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Ability to maintain patient records and update patient information as needed.
• Reliably arrive to work on time.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Greets, screens and schedules patients.
• Inputs information into electronic health records and other support services platforms.
• Performs clerical duties related to clinical service.
• Prepares and processes correspondence; answers routine medical inquiries.
• Handles high volumes of reception duties, including calls and messages between patients and clinical team.
• Verifies and updates patient information; supports patients and staff.
