Job summary

Pacific Medical Group, part of Praxis Health, is seeking an experienced Patient Services Representative for a full-time role in Oregon City. You will greet and screen patients, schedule visits, and manage front-desk duties in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year medical office experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with electronic health records. A High School diploma or GED is required, with benefits including medical, dental, 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a medical office setting preferred; minimum 1 year (2+ years preferred)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, both in person and over the phone
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Ability to maintain patient records and update patient information as needed
• Ability to reliably arrive to work on time
• High school diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Greets, screens and schedules patients.
• Inputs information into electronic health records and other support services platforms.
• Performs clerical duties related to clinical service.
• Prepares and processes correspondence and answers routine medical inquiries.
• Performs high volumes of reception duties including telephone screening and message relay.
• Obtains, verifies, and updates patient information and provides support to patients and staff.
• Maintains Medical Records and assists in retrieval and sending documents as required by law.
• Ensures scheduling accuracy for provider and patient time.
• Actively communicates across software platforms to support office operations.
• Maintains files and assists with office equipment upkeep.
• Performs medical receptionist duties as necessary.
