Advocate Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative to support ambulatory care at Advocate Medical Group locations in Downers Grove, IL. The role focuses on delivering efficient, compassionate front-desk service, assisting providers, and guiding patients through scheduling, registration, and billing processes.

You will handle patient inquiries, collect payment at time of service, and ensure accurate entry of billing and insurance information.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years related customer service experience, preferably in healthcare
• Experience handling difficult caller/customers/patients.

Responsabilidades

• Provide efficient, high-quality service to patients who arrive for appointments or call/visit in person to request appointments or information.
• Billing: Ensure entry at time of service of billing information and accurate follow-up on missing information.
• Medical records: Uphold standards of the practice and of the medical group for accurate and timely medical records.
