Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative Float to cover front office functions across multiple practice locations in New Hampshire. You will travel between sites, greet patients, schedule appointments, check patients in and out, and handle payments with accuracy.

This role emphasizes compassionate service, attention to detail, and teamwork, with weekend/holiday rotation as needed and adherence to HIPAA and clinic policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of customer service experience or equivalent preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Windows-based office applications and basic computer skills.
• Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients, visitors, and customers professionally.
• Answer incoming calls and provide general information.
• Check-in and check-out patients and schedule appointments.
• Enter and track referrals and update demographics.
• Collect co-pays and process daily payments accurately.
• Scan and index documents into the EMR.
• Support coverage across multiple practice locations, including weekends/holidays.
• Assist with Patient Centered Medical Home initiatives and special projects.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and organizational policies.
• Travel between practice locations as needed to cover shifts.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure smooth patient experiences.
