Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Minimum one year of customer service preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Windows-based office applications.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Caring and compassionate customer service approach.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients, visitors, and customers professionally.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and provide general information.
• Perform patient check-in and check-out functions.
• Schedule appointments and requested testing.
• Enter and track referrals.
• Verify and update patient demographics and registration information.
• Collect and process co-pays and daily payment batches accurately.
• Scan and index documentation into the EMR.
• Provide coverage for multiple locations, including weekend and holiday rotations.
• Support patient-centered medical home initiatives and other projects.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies and procedures.
