Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative Float to cover front-office operations across multiple practice locations, travel between sites as needed, and ensure smooth patient flow.

As the first point of contact, you will greet patients, schedule appointments, process payments, and maintain HIPAA-compliant records while delivering compassionate service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Minimum one year of customer service experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Windows-based office applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Caring and compassionate customer service approach.
• Flexibility to travel to and work from various Southern New Hampshire Health practice locations.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different offices, teams, and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients, visitors, and customers in a professional and compassionate manner
• Answer incoming telephone calls and provide general information
• Perform patient check-in and check-out functions
• Schedule appointments and requested testing
• Enter and track referrals
• Verify and update patient demographic and registration information
• Collect and process co-pays and daily payment batches accurately
• Scan and index documentation into the electronic medical record
• Provide coverage for multiple practice locations, including weekend and holiday rotations as needed
• Support Patient Centered Medical Home initiatives and other special projects
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies and procedures
