Responsibilities

• Coordinates patient appointments with the centre manager to minimize cancellations and support treatment adherence.
• Registers patient information with complete forms and accurate data in the EMR.
• Verifies patient insurance and obtains required authorisations before visits; explains benefits and costs.
• Collects patient responsibility at each visit and explains billing procedures.
• Scans and maintains medical documents in the system.
• Reconciles and posts charges daily and prepares reports for clean claim processing.
• Responds to information requests from patients, other departments, and physicians.
• Maintains office, orders supplies, and manages mail.
• Willing to adjust schedules to centre needs and attend mandatory meetings and trainings.
• Travels to non-home locations for coverage as needed.

Travel: Candidate will be required to travel to multiple outpatient clinics.
Areas of Coverage: Addison, Farmers Branch, Coppell, Carrollton, Plano, Frisco, Richardson, The Colony, Little Elm
PRN rate: $21.00 per hour

We are seeking a highly organized, detail oriented, and flexible individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be a team player who can also work independently, consistently delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. Tasks include check in, check out, insurance verifications, scheduling, reports, faxing and scanning and other office duties. Travel to multiple locations will be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates patient appointments, working with Centre manager to minimize cancellations and support treatment adherence.
• Registers patient information, ensuring all forms are complete with signatures and accurate information documented in the electronic medical record.
• Verifies patient insurance, obtaining required authorisations before patient visit and explains benefits, financial responsibilities, billing, and outpatient policies.
• Collects towards patient responsibility at each visit.
• Scan and maintain medical documents.
• Reconciles and posts charges daily and other reporting to ensure clean claim processing.
• Responds to all request for information from patients, other department and physicians.
• Maintains office, orders supplies and manages mail.
• Willingness to adjust schedule to centre needs.
• Travels to attend all mandatory meetings and in‑service education programmes.
• Travels to non‑home location centre or other site for coverage when necessary.
