Job summary

Select Medical in Missouri is hiring a Patient Service Specialist- FLOAT/SPLIT to manage front desk and business aspects of our outpatient physical therapy center. You will greet patients, register them, schedule appointments, collect co-pays, and coordinate with insurance providers as needed.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma or GED, with the opportunity for increases based on experience. The position involves floating across multiple counties, including IL and MO areas, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year front desk experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and their next appointment at checkout.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Communicate with insurance companies, translation services, and leadership teams as needed.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday- FLOATING
Wednesday- O'Fallon South 10 hours.
Will be required to float into St. Louis City, St. Louis County, Jefferson County, Warren County, and St. Charles County. Illinois counties include Monroe, Madison, and St. Clair County.

Compensation

$19/hour- Increases based on experience.

Minimum
