Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience required; medical office experience preferred.
• Experience with CPT coding and ICD-10 coding is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and EMR systems; able to navigate healthcare portals.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and visitors at the front desk, in person or by phone.
• Register new patients and update demographics; collect co-pays and balances.
• Verify insurance information and obtain referrals/authorizations when required.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow with clinical staff.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records and protect patient confidentiality.
