Job summary

Integrated Medical Professionals is seeking a Patient Service Representative I to deliver exceptional front desk and phone support in our Smithtown office. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, collect co-pays and verify insurance, while moving patients through intake and checkout with professionalism.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, scanning documents, answering inquiries, and coordinating with clinical staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience in a medical setting recommended.
• Basic knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in person or by phone.
• Answer multiple calls and manage front desk operations.
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments and follow-ups.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles and outstanding balances.
• Verify insurance information and obtain referrals when required.
• Maintain accurate patient records and confidential information.
