Job summary

Integrated Medical Professionals PLLC is seeking a Patient Service Representative II to deliver exceptional patient care and support in a busy medical office in West Nyack, NY. You will manage registrations, scheduling, and billing assistance while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

You will act as a resource to staff, handle complex inquiries, and ensure a seamless flow from intake to checkout. Prior medical office experience and knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 are helpful.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• 2–3 years of customer service experience; medical office experience is a plus.
• Basic CPT coding and ICD-10 understanding is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet patients/visitors in a professional manner.
• Register patients and update demographics; collect personal and financial information.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances; assist with billing as needed.
• Obtain referrals and authorizations when required; ensure timely processing and documentation.
• Scan and file incoming documents into patient charts; maintain accurate records.
• Schedule follow-up appointments, surgeries, imaging, and other services as appropriate.
• Protect patient confidentiality and PHI; log off computers when away and follow HIPAA guidelines.
